TEAR BREAD WITH NUTELLA FILLING (ROTI SOBEK DENGAN ISI COKLAT NUTELA)


This recipe was obtained from a good friend of mine Helen K Manik.
We have had a chat in Multiply a few years back around 2008, but later due to my work load, I have never visited multiply again until Multiply was closed and disappeared from the cyber world.
I didn’t expect to see Helen again, but finally I met her again in Facebook.
Thank you Helen for the recipe. 
The bread is yummy and soft.
My daughter loves it.


RECIPE IN ENGLISH


TEAR BREAD WITH NUTELLA FILLING
(ROTI SOBEK DENGAN ISI COKLAT NUTELA)

INGREDIENTS:
500 gr flour
5 tablespoon white sugar
½ teaspoon salt
3 ½ tablespoon powder milk
2 eggs
3 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 sachet of instant yeast  (Fermipan 7gr)
200 mll water

FILLING:
1 tablespoon of Nutella

COATING
1 chicken egg, beaten with 2 tablespoon of milk.


METHOD:
Mix flour, sugar, salt, and powder milk with hand.
Make a hole in the middle and insert egg and vegetable oil into the hole.
Mix all with hand while you pour water little by little until all water is used and all ingredients well mixed.
Knead the dough until dull.
Cover container with a dry cloth.
Put the dough in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until the dough grow twice in size.
After the dough grows, beat it with hand, then cover it again with a dry cloth for another 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into smaller 60 gram parts, then flat it and fill with 1 tablespoon of Nutella.
Arrange the bread on a pan cover with damp cloth.. let stand until grow twice the size.
Before you bake them, brush it with coating ingredients (1 chicken egg, beaten with 2 tablespoon of milk).
Bake in 180 degree celcius for 12  minutes.
When fully baked, take out of the oven and brush it with butter to polish and create a delicious smell.

BAHAN YANG DIBUTUHKAN :
500 gram terigu
5 sdm gula pasir
1/2 sdt gram
3 1/2 sdm susu bubuk
2 butir telur utuh
3 sdm minyak sayur
1 bungkus ragi fermipan
200 ml air

BAHAN ISIAN:
1 sdm coklat nutella

BAHAN OLESAN:
1 butir telor ayam dikocok dengan 2 sdm susu cair


CARA MEMBUAT :
Campurkan dan Aduk rata tepung terigu, gula, garam, susu bubuk dengan menggunakan tangan.
Kemudian tengahnya dilubangi, masukkan telor dan minyak sayur ditengah-tengah lubang tadi.
Aduk dengan tangan sambil dituangi air sedikit demi sedikit sampai air habis dan semua bahan tercampur rata.
Uleni sampai adonan menjadi kalis.
Tutup wadah dengan lap kering.
Diamkan adonan ditempat yang hangat selama 30 menit atau sampai mengembang menjadi dua kali lipat.
Setelah adonan mengembang, adonan ditinju, kemudian tutup kembali adonan dengan lap dan diamkan kembali selama 10 menit.
Timbang masing-masing adonan seberat 60 gram, kemudian pipihkan dan lsi dengan 1 sdm coklat nutella.
Disusun diloyang, ditutupin atasnya dengan kain lembab..diamin sampai mengembang dua kali lipat
Sebelum dipanggang diolesi dengan bahan olesan ( 1 butir telor utuh dikocok dengan 2 sdm susu cair)
Panggang 180 derajad selama 12 menit
Udah matang olesin mentega biar harum dan mengkilat

FRIED NOODLE WITH PEANUT SAUCE (PECEL MIE)


RECIPE IN ENGLISH


FRIED NOODLE
(MIE GORENG)

INGREDIENTS:
200 gr dried egg noodle, boil to cook.
3 pieces of bok choy, slice in big chunks.
1 shallot, cut about 3 cm long.
3 pieces of fried chicken, broken to pieces
½ teaspoon of chicken stock
Salt to taste
3 teaspoon of sweet soy sauce.

GROUND SPICES:
2 cloves of garlic
2 candle nuts
½ teaspoon of ground pepper


METHOD:
Saute ground spices until fragrant
Add broken chicken and bok choy , mix until wilted
Add fried noodle and shallot.
Insert chicken stock, salt and sweet soy sauce
Stir well until all spices are absorbed
Serve with peanut sauce on top.


INDONESIAN PEANUT SAUCE
(SAMBAL PECEL)

INGREDIENTS:
100 gr peanut, fry until cooked
30 gr palm sugar
2 red chilli, fry (quantity can be adjusted)
2 cloves of garlic, fry.
1 cm zedoary (Kaemferia galanga)
2 lime leaves
1 teaspoon of fried shrimp paste
2 tablespoon of tamarind juice
½ teaspoon of salt
150 ml water


METHOD:
Coarse grind fried peanut.
Grind chilli, garlic, kaemferia galangal, lime leaves, and shrimp paste. Add them to ground peanut and mix well.
Add palm sugar and salt.
Mix all ingredients well.
Pour water and stir until the mixture is thick.
Serve with fried noodle, fried egg and crackers.

BAHAN YANG DIGUNAKAN:
200 gr mie kering, rebus hingga matang.
Sayur Bok Choy, iris kasar
1 batang daun bawang, iris sekitar 3 cm
3 buah ayam KFC, suwir-suwir
½ sendok teh kaldu bubuk
Garam secukupnya
3 sendok teh Kecap manis secukupnya

BUMBU HALUS:
2 siung bawang putih
2 butir kemiri
½ sendok teh merica bubuk


CARA MEMBUAT:
Tumis bumbu halus hingga harum.
Masukkan ayam suwir dan  bok choy aduk sampai layu.
Masukkan mie goreng dan daun bawang.
Masukkan kaldu bubuk, garam dan kecap manis.
Aduk rata hingga meresap.
Sajikan dengan siraman bumbu pecel.


INDONESIAN PEANUT SAUCE
(SAMBAL PECEL)

BAHAN YANG DIGUNAKAN:
100 gram kacang tanah, goreng hingga matang
30 gram gula merah
2 buah cabai, goreng (bisa ditambahkan jika kurang pedas)
2 siung bawang putih, goreng
1 cm kencur
2 lembar daun jeruk
1 sendok teh terasi goreng
2 sendok makan air asam jawa (2 biji asam jawa)
½ sendok teh garam
150 ml air


CARA MEMBUAT:
Ulek kacang tanah, setengah halus.
Tambahkan cabe, bawang putih, kencur, daun jeruk serta terasi. Ulek dan campur rata dengan kacang tanah.
Tambahkan gula merah dan garam.
Aduk rata semua bahan sampai halus.
Tuangi air dan aduk hingga kental.
Sajikan dengan mie goreng, telor ceplok dan kerupuk.

PUDDING WITH CUSTARD KFC STYLE
(PUDING VLA ALA KFC)

INGREDIENTS:

1 packet of plain jelly powder
1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk chocolate
1 tbsp cocoa powder
150 grams white sugar (can be added or reduced according to taste)
1/2 tsp salt
1 litre of water (can be substituted by fresh milk)


CUSTARD INGREDIENTS:

1 can of evaporated milk
200 ml plain UHT milk
6 tbsp white sugar
2 tsp cornstarch + 2 tsp custard flour
1/2 tsp vanilla


HOW TO MAKE PUDDING:

Mix all the ingredients except sugar and salt.
Stir until smooth and then strain.
Pour into a pan.
Add sugar and salt.
Cook, stir until boiling.
Pour pudding into a mold that has been soaked in water or into a pudding cup.
Chill.


HOW TO MAKE CUSTARD:

Mix all ingredients except sugar.
Stir until no granule found and strain if necessary.
Add sugar and cook until bubbling.
Remove and let cool.
Serve chilled pudding with custard

BAHAN YANG DIBUTUHKAN :

1 bungkus agar-agar plain
1/2 kaleng susu kental manis coklat
1 sdm coklat bubuk (aku pakai Tulip)
150 gr gula pasir (bisa ditambah atau dikurangi sesuai selera)
1/2 sdt garam
1 liter air (bisa diganti susu cair)


BAHAN VLA ALA KFC:

1 kaleng susu evaporated F&N
200 ml susu UHT plain
6 sdm gula pasir
2 sdt maizena + 2 sdt tepung custard
1/2 sdt vanilla


CARA MEMBUAT PUDING:

Campurkan semua bahan kecuali gula dan garam.
Aduk-aduk hingga rata dan saring.
Tuang ke dalam panci.
Tambahkan gula pasir dan garam.
Masak sambil diaduk-aduk hingga mendidih.
Tuang ke dalam cetakan puding yang sudah dibasahi air atau ke dalam cup puding.
Dinginkan.


CARA MEMBUAT VLA:

Campur semua bahan kecuali gula pasir.
Aduk rata hingga tidak bergerindil dan saring bila perlu.
Tambahkan gula dan masak hingga meletup-letup.
Angkat dan dinginkan.
Sajikan puding dingin bersama vla.

CHICKEN IN TOMATO SAUCE (AYAM SAUS TOMAT)


This recipe was acquired from a good friend of mine on facebook, Dewi Sari.
I was first attracted to the way it looks on facebook photos before I finally decided to ask for the recipe.
When I got the recipe, I cooked the dish the next day. It turned out to be Astrid’s favourite menu.
Let’s see the recipe and try it yourself….


RECIPE IN ENGLISH


Chicken in Tomato Sauce
(AYAM SAUS TOMAT)

INGREDIENTS:
1 kg of chicken drumstick
5 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 medium onion, halved & sliced thinly
6 tablespoons tomato sauce (or as you wish)
Salt and chicken broth powder to taste
1 tablespoons of baking powder
4 tablespoons of lemon juice
3 tablespoons vegetable oil


HOW TO MAKE:
Remove the fat from the chicken. Wash and pat dry.
Marinate with the chicken with lemon juice and baking powder for 30 minutes in the fridge.
Grill chicken until fully cooked and all the chicken is browned, then take out and put aside
Preheat skillet with the vegetable oil until smoky.
On the skillet, sauté onion until soft, put garlic until fragrant.
Add tomato sauce, salt and chicken broth powder and stir.
Turn down the heat low.
Mix well and let simmer for a couple minutes.
Add chicken and toss quickly.
Ready to serve with warm rice.

BAHAN YANG DIGUNAKAN:
1 kg paha ayam
5 siung bawang putih, cincang
1 buah bawang Bombay ukuran sedang, bagi dua dan potong tipis-tipis
6 sendok makan saus tomat (atau sesuai selera)
Garam dan kaldu ayam bubuk secukupnya
1 sendok makan baking powder
4 sendok makan air perasan jeruk lemon
3 sendok makan minyak goreng


CARA MEMBUAT:
Buang atau bersihkan lemak ayam. Cuci dan tiriskan.
Rendam ayam dengan perasan air jeruk lemon dan baking powder , kmudian taruh didalam kulkas selama 30 menit.
Bakar ayam sampai matang sambil di bolak balik hingga berwarna kecoklatan, Kemudian angkat dan sisihkan.
Panakan minyak goreng didalam wajan sampai berasap.
Tumis bawang Bombay sampai lunak dan bawang putih sampai harum.
Tambahkan saus tomat, garam dan kaldu ayam bubuk, aduk rata.
Kecilkan api.
Sambil terus diaduk dan biarkan selama beberapa menit.
Masukkan ayam dan aduk cepat dengan saus tersebut.
Siap untuk dihidangkan dengan nasi hangat.

BOK CHOY WITH CHICKEN MINCED (TUMIS BOKCOY DENGAN DAGING AYAM CINCANG)


Do you know that cooking Bok Choy with minced chicken like the one you find in Chinese restaurants is not as hard as it seems.
It involves two steps: blanching the vegetables and cooking the meat.
The Bok Choy should not be overcooked to retain its crispiness and vibrant colour.
Here is my recipe.


RECIPE IN ENGLISH


BOK CHOY WITH CHICKEN MINCED
(TUMIS BOKCOY DENGAN DAGING AYAM CINCANG)

INGREDIENTS :

Bok Choy as you wish
70 gr minced chicken
1 brown onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 table spoon oyster sauce
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
Vegetable oil


HOW TO MAKE :

In a heated pot half full of water add few drops of cooking oil and bring to a boil.
Add in the baby bok choy stalk first in the boiling water and quickly immerse for about a minute or until they are just half cooked, do not overcook vegetables. When done, drain excess water and arrange in a plate.
Preheat frying pan with a little oil until smoky
On the frying pan, saute onion until soft, put garlic until fragrant, insert minced chicken until fully cooked and granulated.
Pour oyster sauce, pepper, salt, and sugar until all spices mixed up and fully absorbed.
Lift and pour onto the bokchoy.


RESEP DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA


BOK CHOY WITH CHICKEN MINCED
(TUMIS BOKCOY DENGAN DAGING AYAM CINCANG)

BAHAN YANG DIPERLUKAN :

Bok Choy sesuai selera
70 gr daging ayam cincang
1 buah bawang bombay
2 siung bawang putih
2 sendok makan saus tiram
1/2 sendok teh merica
1/2 sendok teh garam
1/2 sendok teh gula pasir
Minyak goreng


CARA MEMBUAT:

Dalam panci berisi air setengah penuh yang dipanaskan , tambahkan beberapa tetes minyak dan tunggu sampai mendidih.
Masukkan baby bokchoy dengan cepat selama 1 menit sampai setengan matang, jangan sampai terlalu matang/layu. Setelah itu, tiriskan airnya dan letakkan di atas piring.
Panaskan penggorengan dengan sedikit minyak sampai berasap.
Di penggorengan, tumis bawang bombay dan bawang putih sampai harum, lalu masukkan daging ayam cincang sampai matang dan menggumpal.
Siram saus tiram, garam, lada dan gula sampai semua bumbu tercampur dan meresap. Angkat dan tuangkan ke atas bokchoy.
