This recipe is one of my favourites
In my country, bitter melon is prepared in various dishes, such as pecel, gado-gado and also stir fried, cooked in coconut milk, or steamed for siomay.
RECIPE IN ENGLISH
STIR FRIED BITTER MELON WITH ANCHOVIES
(OSENG PARE TERI)
INGREDIENTS :
3 pieces bitter melon
2 cloves garlic
2 spring onions
4 pieces of fried tofu, diced
2 pieces of red chili, sliced oblique
4 pieces chili, sliced oblique
Bay leaves and galangal as you wish
Anchovies, washed
Salt, sugar, pepper to taste
Beef broth powder to taste
a bit water
HOW TO MAKE :
Wash bitter melon, cut into pieces, split into two, scrape seeds, thinly sliced, squeezed with salt, washed, drained
Blend the onion and garlic and cook until fragrant, enter the greeting and galangal, sliced chilli stir
Enter fried tofu and anchovies, sauté until cooked.
Enter the bitter melon and spices.
Add a little water, stir well and let the water run out.
Mix well and cook until the bitter melon cooked, remove from heat and serve.
RESEP DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA
STIR FRIED BITTER MELON WITH ANCHOVIES
(OSENG PARE TERI)
BAHAN - BAHAN YANG DIBUTUHKAN :
3 buah Pare
2 siung Bawang putih
2 siung bawang merah
4 buah tahu goreng, dipotong dadu
2 buah cabe merah, iris serong
4 buah cabe rawit, iris serong
daun salam dan lengkuas secukupnya
ikan teri , cuci bersih
Garam, gula, merica secukupnya
kaldu sapi bubuk secukupnya
sedikit air
CARA MEMBUAT :
Cuci bersih pare, potong-potong, belah menjadi 2, kerok bijinya, iris tipis, remas dengan garam, cuci bersih, tiriskan
Haluskan bawang merah dan bawang putih, tumis hingga harum, masukkan salam dan lengkuas, irisan cabe aduk rata
Masukkan Tahu dan teri, tumis sampai matang.
Masukkan pare dan bumbu.
Masukkan sedikit air, aduk rata dan biarkan sampai air habis.
Aduk rata dan Masak hingga pare matang, angkat dan sajikan
