STEAMED SPONGED CAKE
(BOLU KUKUS MEKAR)

RECIPE FROM:
WINA MELINDA

INGREDIENTS:

300 grams sugar
3 eggs
225 cc water
15 gr SP / emulsifier
300 gr flour
10 gr custard powder
10 gr milk powder
1 teaspoons Strawberry pasta / red colour pasta


HOW TO MAKE:

Heat the steamer; wrap the lid with a big napkin or fabric so the water does not drip in the batter.
Beat egg and sugar around 2 minutes.
Add custard powder, SP/emulsifier, milk, flour and water.
Mixer for approximately 6 minutes until light and fluffy at high speed to a larger mixer. If using a hand mixer probably about 20 minutes.
(depend on the mixer)
Take 4 scoop of soup spoon of batter into bowl.
Give a red or strawberry pasta colour.
Take the mould, pour the white batter and then another colour intermittent.
Steam approximately 10-15 minutes with high heat.


RESEP DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA

BAHAN YANG DIPERLUKAN:

300 gr gula pasir
3 butir telur
225 cc air
15 gr SP
300 gr terigu
10 gr custard powder
10 gr susu bubuk
1 sdt pasta strawberry atau pewarna makanan warna merah.


CARA MEMBUAT:

Panaskan kukusan, bungkus tutupnya dengan serbet supaya air tidak menetes di adonan.
Kocok telur dan gula kurleb 2 menit
Masukkan custard powder, SP, susu bubuk, dan terigu berselang-seling dengan air.
Kocok terus hingga kurang lebih 6 menit dengan kecepatan tinggi untuk mikser skala besar. Kalau pakai mikser tangan mungkin butuh waktu sekitar 20 menit.
Ambil 4 sendok sayur adonan kedalam mangkok.
Beri warna pasta strawberry atau merah.
Ambil cetakan, tuang adonan warna putih kemudian warna merah diatasnya.
Kukus selama 10-15 menit dengan menggunakan api besar.
