SPIRAL CURRY PUFFS (KARIPAP PUSING)


I USED THIS FOOD FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE 
MONTHLY EVENT PAWON IBU #29.
IT TASTES VERY YUMMY, FLAKY AND CRISPY.


RECIPE IN ENGLISH


SPIRAL CURRY PUFFS
(KARIPAP PUSING)

I used only 1/2 recipe

INGREDIENTS:

INGREDIENTS A:

125 g flour
75 g margarine


INGREDIENTS B:

375 g flour
40 g vegetable oil
150 ml cold water
25 gr sugar
1/2 tablespoons of salt


HOW TO MAKE:

INGREDIENTS A:

Rub margarine into the flour to form oily dough.
Divide into 2 portions.
Round the dough and set a side.

INGREDIENTS B:

Put salt and water in a bowl and stir until salt dissolves.
Add Flour, vegetable oil and sugar.
Mix well and knead into smooth dough and pliable dough.
Divide into 2 portions.
Round the dough.


ASSEMBLY:

Take each ball of Ingredients A and enclose completely in the balls of Ingredients B.
Pinch to seal securely.
Rest cover for 15 minutes.
Flatten ball and shape into rectangle shape.
If there is any air trapped inside, simply make a small tear to release the air and seal it back.
Roll the dough into rectangle with thickness. the thinner is better.
Roll it up closely into a swiss roll starting from the furthest and rolling in towards you.
Dough is soft, so do use both hands to control from both ends of the dough when rolling.


You'll get a long swiss roll as picture above.
Then, cut up the swiss roll dough into 1 - 1.5 cm - thick pieces.
The circular pattern of Ingredients A and B is visible as picture above.
With the cut side facing up, roll each piece into a round wrapper.
Fill the pastry with a tablespoons filling.
Fold into half and crimp the edges.
Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Serve Warm.


FILLING FOR SPIRAL CURRY PUFFS

INGREDIENTS:

10 onions, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
125 g of chicken meat, boiled and cut into small dice
125 g of shrimp, peeled and roughly chopped
1 carrot (150 g), peeles, boiled and cut into small dice.
100 g of potatoes, peeled, boiled briefly and then cut into small dice (1/2 cm)
3 tsp. salt
3 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
50 ml of water
75 grams vermicelli soaked briefly in hot water, drain, then cut into pieces
100 grams of peas (can be replaces or cut green beas 1 cm)
Vegetable oil for frying


HOW TO MAKE:

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add chicken and shrimp, stir until it changes colour.
Add the carrots and potatoes, stirring until wilted.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Cook until done and dry.
Lift, set aside and leave to cool

I hanya memakai 1/2 resep

BAHAN YANG DIGUNAKAN:

BAHAN A:

125 g Tepung terigu
75 g mentega / margarine


BAHAN B:

375 g Tepung terigu
40 g Minyak goreng
150 ml air dingin
25 gr gula pasir
1/2 sendok makan garam


CARA MEMBUAT:

BAHAN A:

Campur semua bahan A menjadi adonan yang dapat dipulung.
Bagi menjadi 2 bagian, bulatkan. 
Sisihkan.

BAHAN B:

masukkan garam dan air dal am wadah dan aduk sampai garam larut. 
Tambahkan tepung terigu, minyak goreng dan gula pasir.
Campur rata dan uleni hingga adonan menjadi kalis.
Bagi menjadi 2 bagian.
Bulatkan.


PENYELESAIAN:

Pipihkan 1 bagian adonan B, isi dengan 1 bagian adonan A ditenghanya.
Bulatkan hingga adonan A rapat terbalut adonan B.
Rapikan bulatannya.
Lakukan pada semua adonan.
Diamkan 15 menit.
Ambil satu bagian adonan, gilas tipis lalu lakukan lipatan single, yaitu adonan dilipat tiga kearah tengah.
Gilas lagi memanjang hingga sangat tipis. Lebih tipis makin baik hasilnya.
Kemudian gulung dan padatkan.
Lakukan hal yang sama pada adonan yang lain.


Kamu akan mendapatkan adonan gulung yang memanjang seperti pada gambar diatas.
Potong-potong adonan horizontal setebal kurang lebih 1 - 1.5 cm hingga didapat potongan bulat dan terlihat tekstur pusaran.
Pola tekstur pusaran dari Bahan A dan B terlihat jelas seperti pada gambar diatas.
Gilas tipis tiap potongan, beri isi dan bentuk menjadi pastel.
Goreng dalam minyak yang sudah panas, hingga kuning kecoklatan.
Angkat dan Sajikan.


ISIAN UNTUK KARIPAP PUSING

BY:
KELUARGA NUGRAHA

BAHAN YANG DIBUTUHKAN:

10 butir bawang merah, rajang halus
4 siung bawang putih, rajang halus
125 g daging ayam, rebus lalu potong dadu kecil
125 g udang segar, kupas lalu cincang kasar
1 bush wortel (150 g), kupas, rebus lalu portong dadu kecil-kecil
100 g kentang, kupas, rebus sebentar lalu potong dadu kecil (1/2 cm)
3 sendok teh garam
3 sendok teh gula pasir
1/2 sendok teh merica bubuk
50 ml air
75 gr soun rendam sebentar dalam air panas, tiriskan, lalu potong-potong
100 gr kacang polong (atau bisa diganti buncis potong 1 cm)
Minyak untuk menggoreng


HOW TO MAKE:

Panaskan 3 sendok makan minyak goreng, lalu tumis bawang merah dan bawang putih sampai harum.
Masukkan ayam dan udang cincang, aduk sampai berubah warna.
Masukkan wortel dan kentang, aduk hingga layu.
Tambahkan sisa bahan lainnya
Masak sampai matang dan kering.
Angkat, sisihkan dan biarkan sampai berada pada suhu ruangan.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MUFFIN

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MUFFIN

INGREDIENTS:

300 g all purpose flour
80 g cocoa powder
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilli powder
250 g sugar
100 g margarine, melted
250 ml buttermilk
3 large eggs
150 g Dark Cooking Chocolate, coarsely chopped



HOW TO MAKE:

Heat oven to 200°c. 
Prepare a cupcake pan with 12 muffin liners. 
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl. 
Set aside. 
Mix sugar, butter, buttermilk, Vanilla powder and eggs in a large bowl. 
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined. 
Stir in chocolate, but save 1/4 of the chocolate to put on top of muffins. 
Divide batter between 12 liners, filling them completely full. 
Sprinkle with remaining chocolate pieces. 
Bake for 21 minutes or until a cake tester comes out almost clean.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MUFFIN

BAHAN YANG DIBUTUHKAN:

300 gram tepung terigu
80 gram bubuk coklat
1 sendok makan baking powder
1 sendok teh baking soda
1/4 sendok teh garam
1/2 sdt vanilli bubuk
250 gram gula pasir
100 gram mentega, dilelehkan
250 ml buttermilk
3 butir telor
150 gram Dark Cooking Chocolate, dipotong kotak kecil-kecil.


CARA MEMBUAT:

Panaskan Oven sampai dengan suhu 200 derajad celcius Siapkan loyang muffin yang sudah dilapisi cup. Campur tepung, coklat bubuk, baking powder, Baking soda dan garam dalam mangkok ukuran sedang. Sisihkan. Campur gula pasir, mentega, buttermilk, vanilli dan telor di mangkok ukuran besar. Campur manual dengan whisk sampai tercampur rata. Masukkan bahan kering sedikit demi sedikit sambil diaduk dengan whisk sampai tercampur rata. Masukkan sebagian potongan dark coklat, aduk rata dengan sendok kayu dan sisihkan 1/4 potongan dark coklat untuk taburan diatas adonan muffin. Tuang adonan kedalam loyang muffin, Tuang hampir penuh. Taburkan sisa potongan dark coklat diatas adonan muffin. Panggang selama 21 menit atau sampai matang (saat diuji tusuk tidak ada adonan yang menempel di tusuk sate) Selamat Mencoba, semoga suka....

FRUIT CAKE

RECIPE BY:

INGREDIENTS:

MIX DRIED FRUITS:

Dates
Sultana
---> Cut in small pieces


MIXED NUTS :

Peanuts
Walnut
-----> Crushed


FRUIT CAKES:

450 gr Mixed Dried Fruit
125 gram of mixed nuts
3 eggs
1 tablespoons milk powder
5 gr baking powder
1 teaspoons vanilla powder
2.5 tablespoons flour
80 gr sugar
100 gr butter, melted


HOW TO MAKE:

Brush pan with butter, line with baking paper and brush again butter on top off the baking paper.
Beat egg and sugar until white and fluffy.
Add flour, baking powder, vanilla powder and milk powder, mix well.
And insert butter, mix well.
Insert and Mix well dried fruit ad nuts with spatula.
Pour the dough into the cake pan.
Bake in the oven at 160 degree celcius for 10 - 15 minutes.


NOTE :

Don't forget to add one spoon of flour on to the mixed fruit and nuts, to make it evenly spread in the dough.

BAHAN YANG DIGUNAKAN:

CAMPURAN BUAH KERING:

Kurma
Kismis
---> Potong kecil-kecil


CAMPURAN KACANG :

Kacang tanah
Kacang walnut
-----> ditumbuk kasar


FRUIT CAKES:

450 gr Campuran buah kering
125 gram campuran kacang
3 butir telor
1 sendok makan susu bubuk
5 gr baking powder
1 sendok teh bubuk vanila
2.5 sendok makan tepung terigu
80 gr gula pasir
100 gr buter, lelehkan


CARA MEMBUAT:

Oles loyang dengan mentega, lapis dengan kertas kue dan olesi lagi loyang dengan mentega.
Kocok telor dan gula pasir sampai putih, kental dan mengembang.
Masukkan tepung, baking powder, vanila bubuk dan susu bubuk, aduk rata.
Masukkan buter leleh, aduk rata.
Masukkan dan aduk rata campuran buah kering dan kacang, aduk dengan spatula.
Tuang adonan kedalam loyang.
Panggang dalam oven dengan suhu 160 derajad selama 10 - 15 menit.

OMBRE CAKE IN THE JAR (Ombre Cake dalam Botol)


Finally I could catch up with the LBT’s deadline in making Cake in the Jar (LBT#28).
On this occasion, I choose to present Ombre Cake for Cake in the Jar.
This is my first time in making Ombre Cake as well as a jar cake.
I’ve never thought that it would be so delicious, moreover it looks so beautiful in the jar.
It is very space efficient and practical. If we wish to eat it, we just take it out of the fridge with the jar.
So let’s check out the recipe… :

RECIPE IN ENGLISH


OMBRE CAKE IN THE JAR
(Ombre Cake dalam Botol)

INGREDIENTS:

CAKE:

7 medium eggs
115 gr white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla powder
150 gr  flour
115 g melted unsalted butter
1 teaspoon emulsifier


SIMPLE SYRUP:

50gr white sugar
100ml water
(Dissolve)


FILLING:

100 gr Cream Cheese
4 tablespoon of strawberry jam.
150 gr whipped cream

COVER:

80 gr caster sugar
150 gr cream cheese
350 gr whipped cream


DIRECTION TO MAKE:

CAKE:

Preheat oven to  160'C
Prepare round cake pan with a diameter of  15 cm
Beat egg, sugar, and vanilla extract with a mixer, increase the speed gradually until it reaches the highest speed.
Beat until the sugar is dissolved and the dough grows and soften.
Decrease the speed until the lowest setting, and pour melted butter, then add the flour gradually.
Divide the dough evenly into 5 parts into 5 bowls, then give colour:
½ teaspoon of blue colour for the first bowl.
¾ teaspoon of blue colour for the second bowl.
1/8 teaspoon of blue colour for the third bowl.
15 drips of blue colouring for the fourth bowl.
Let the fifth part without colour.
Put each bowl of dough into separate baking pans.
Bake in the oven at 160 degree Celcius for 21 minutes
Pull out from the pan when it is fully baked and let it cool down until it reaches room temperature.


FILLING:

Beat cream cheese and strawberry jam with a mixer until it soften.
Insert whipped cream, mix it well by using a spatula.

COVER:

Beat cream chesse with a mixer, then add caster sugar, beat until the sugar fully mixed and soften.
Finally, add whipped cream and mix gently with a spatula.


FINISHING:

Cut the cakes into round shape according to the size of the jar.
Put 1 layer of cake into the jar. You can start from the lightest colour or from the darkest colour.
Brush the top of each layer with simple syrup (using a brush)
Put the filling. Repeat this step from the lightest colour to the darkest colour until all cakes are used up.
Spray the upper surface of the top layer with cover materials and decorate as you wish.
Put in the fridge for 1-2 hours before you can serve it.

BAHAN YANG DIBUTUHKAN:

CAKE:

7 butir Telur ayam ukuran sedang (+55gr)
115 gr Gula pasir
1 sdt vanilla bubuk
105 gr terigu protein rendah (ayak)
115 mentega dicairkan cair (unsalted butter)
1 sendok teh SP


SIMPLE SYRUP:

50 gr gula pasir
100 ml air
(Larutkan) 


FILLING:

100 gr Cream Cheese
4 sdm selai strawberry
150 gr whipped cream

COVER:

80gr gula halus
150gr cream cheese
350gr whipped cream


CARA MEMBUAT:

CAKE:

Panasin oven dengan suhu 160'C
Siapkan 5 loyang bulat dengan diameter 15 cm
Kocok telur, gula, vanilla extract dengan menggunaan mixer, naikan kecepatan mixer secara bertahap hingga kecepatan paling tinggi.
Kocok sampai gula larut, adonan mengembang dan lembut.
Turunkan di kecepatan paling rendah, tuang mentega cair
Kemudian terigu, masukan bertahap.
Bagi rata adonan menjadi 5 bagian kdalam mangkok, kemudian di beri warna.
1/2 sdt pewarna biru untuk mangkok pertama.
3/4 sdt pewarna biru untuk mangkok kedua.
1/8 sdt pewarna biru untuk mangkok ketiga
15 tetes adonan biru untuk adonan keempat
Adonan ke lima biarkan tanpa pewarna.
Masukkan kedalam Loyang masing-masing adonan
Panggang dengan suhu 160'C selama 21 menit.
Setelah matang keluarkan dari loyang, dan biarkan sampai cake berada pada suhu ruangan.


FILLING:

Dengan menggunakan mixer, kocok cream cheese dan selai strawberry sampai lembut.
Masukan whipped cream, aduk rata menggunakan spatula.

COVER:

Dengan menggunakan mixer, kocok cream cheese, kemudian masukkan gula halus, kocok hingga lembut dan gula larut.
Terakir masukkan whipped cream, aduk perlahan dengan spatula


FINISHING:

Potong cake bulat-bulat sesuai dengan ukuran jarnya.
Letakan 1 layer cake, bisa di mulai dari warna yang paling muda atau dari yang paling tua kedalam JAR.
Perciki permukaan tiap layer cake dengan simple syrup secukupnya(gunakan kuas).
Letakkan Fillingnya, Ulangi terus tahapannya dari warna paling muda hingga ke warna paling tua sampai habis.
Bagian atas paling atas semprot dengan bahan cover dan hias sesuka hati.
Simpan di kulkas +1-2 jam, baru kemudian sajikan.
