INDONESIAN FRESH PEANUT SALAD (KAREDOK)


Indonesian Fresh Salad (Karedok) is very easy to make.
The ingredients from fresh vegetable without boiling.


RECIPE IN ENGLISH


INDONESIAN FRESH PEANUT SALAD
(KAREDOK)

INGREDIENTS FOR VEGETABLES:

1 cucumber, slice bite size
Bean sprouts, as you wish
Cabbage leaves, as you wish, finely sliced
Snake beans, as you wish, cut bite size
Fried Tofu as you wish, cut bite size


INGREDIENTS FOR PEANUT SAUCE:

5 fresh small red chili, cut into thin slices
1 clove garlic, sliced
 1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp.  Kaempferia galangal (kencur) powder.
2 Tbsp. Peanut butter
Tamarind water, as you wish
Vinegar as you wish
Palm sugar as you wish
Shrimp paste as you wish
Warm water as you wish


HOW TO MAKE:

Rinse all the vegetables in warm water, then drain.
Ground chili, garlic, salt, Kaempferia galangal (kencur), Palm Sugar and shrimp paste until smooth.
Add tamarind water, Peanut water, Vinegar, and warm water. Mix well.
Insert all the vegetables into peanut sauce.
Toss the sauce with the vegetables until well mixed.
Serve with crackers on top the vegetables.


RESEP DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA


INDONESIAN FRESH PEANUT SALAD
(KAREDOK)

BAHAN :

Ketimun secukupnya, dipotong tipis-tipis
Tauge secukupnya
Daun Kol secukupnya, iris halus
Kacang panjang secukupnya, dipotong kcil-kecil +/- 1 cm
Tahu goreng secukupnya


BAHAN SAUS:

5 buah Cabai rawit merah
1 siung Bawang putih
¼ sdt Kencur bubuk
2 sdm Selai kacang
air asam secukupnya
cuka secukupnya
Gula jawa secukupnya
Garam secukupnya
Terasi secukupnya
Air panas secukupnya


CARA MEMBUAT:

Ulek cabai rawit merah, bawang putih, kencur, terasi, garam, dan gula merah sampai halus.
Masukkan selai kacang. Ulek dan aduk rata.
Tambahkan air asam jawa, cuka, dan air. Ulek rata.
Masukkan kacang panjang, ketimun, tauge, kol, dan Tahu goreng.
Aduk rata.
Sajikan dengan kerupuk diatasnya.
