CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP (SOTO AYAM)

CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
Soto Ayam

Ingredients:

1/2 kg boneless chicken
2 tablespoons cooking oil for sautéing
1 vertebra ginger, crushed
4 cm galangal, crushed
salt and sugar to taste
5 pieces of lime leaves
2 stalks lemongrass



Spices

1 1/2 tsp. garlic finely
½ teaspoon pepper
1/2 tsp. coriander powder
1 tsp. turmeric powder


To complement:

50 gr glass vermicelli, pour hot water until soft, drain and scissors.
50 gr thinly sliced cabbage
2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
2 tbsp fried onions
3 eggs boiled cut half
prawn crackers, boiled chili sauce, lime juice, sliced.


How to make soup :

Boil chicken with 2 litters of water, until tender and cooked through.
Lift the chicken and cut into small pieces, and reserve broth.
Heat oil in a skillet, sauté the crushed spices until fragrant, pour 4-5 tablespoons of chicken broth, add ginger, galangal, lime leaves, lemongrass, sugar and salt.
Stir until well blended.
Cook for about 5 minutes.
Add the remaining broth.
Cook over low heat until the broth boil and cook again for 20 minutes.
Lift.


How to serve:

Place the chicken pieces in a bowl of soup.
Give glass vermicelli, shredded cabbage, sliced celery, and eggs.
Pour the hot soup broth.
Sprinkle fried onions.
Serve with chili stew, shrimp crackers and lime slices.


RESEP DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA


CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP

Bahan-bahan:

1/2 kg ayam tanpa tulang
2 sdm minyak goreng untuk menumis
1 ruas jahe, memarkan
4 cm lengkuas, memarkan
garam dan gula secukupnya
5 lembar daun jeruk,
2 batang serai


Bumbu yang dihaluskan:

1 1/2 sdt bawang putih halus
½ sdt merica bubuk
1/2 sdt ketumbar bubuk
1 sdt kunyit bubuk


Untuk pelengkap:

50 gr suun, seduh air panas hingga lunak, tiriskan dan gunting-gunting.
50 gr kol iris halus 2 batang daun seledri, iris halus
2 sdm bawang goreng
3 butir telur ayam rebus, bagi 2
kerupuk udang, sambal cabai rawit rebus, jeruk nipis, iris.


Cara membuat soto:

Rebus ayam dengan 2 liter air, sampai empuk dan matang.
Angkat ayamnya dan potong kecil-kecil, dan sisihkan kaldunya.
Panaskan minyak goreng dalam wajan, tumis bumbu yang dihaluskan sampai harum, tuang 4-5 sendok kaldu ayam, masukan jahe, lengkuas, daun jeruk, serai, gula dan garam.
Aduk sampai tercampur rata.
Masak selama lebih kurang 5 menit.
Masukkan sisa kaldu.
Masak di atas api kecil hingga kaldu kembali bergolak dan masak terus selama 20 menit.
Angkat.


Cara menghidangkan:

Tempatkan potongan daging ayam dalam mangkuk soto.
Beri suun, irisan kol, irisan seledri, dan telur.
Tuang kuah soto yang masih panas.
Taburi bawang goreng.
Hidangkan dengan sambal cabai rawit rebus, kerupuk udang dan irisan jeruk nipis.
